corpus pulveri traditur, ad eternitatem perducant. Domine, miserere super peccatrice. Amen.


Qua finita sacerdos aspergat tumulum aqua benedictam et incensat. Deinde dicat alta voce.


Pater noster [qui es in celis sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in celo et in terra. Da nobis hodie panem nostrum cotidianum et dimitte nos debita nostra sicut et nos dimmitimus debitoribus nostris]. Et ne nos [inducas in temptationem,] Sed libera [nos a malo. Amen]

V. Non intres in iudicium cum ancilla tua Domine,
R. Quia non iustificabitur in conspectu tuo omnis vivens.

V. A porta inferi,
R. Erue domine anima euis.

V. Requiscat in pace,
R. Amen.

V. Domine exaudi [orationem meam,]
R. Et clamor [meus ad te veniat.]

V. Dominus vobiscum,
R. Et cum spirito tuo.

Satisfaciat tibi, quesus domine deus noster pro anima famule tue sororis nostre beatissime dei genitricis sempreque virginis Marie, et sanctissimi confessionis tui Francisci

the body is handed over to the dust: , they guide people for eternity. O Lord, have mercy upon this sinner. Amen.

When this is finished the priest should sprinkle the grave with holy water and incense. Then he says in a loud voice

Our Father, [Who art in heaven
. Hallowed be Thy Name;
 Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;]
And [lead] us not [into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.]


V. Enter not into judgment with thy handmaiden, Lord.
R. For in thy sight no man living shall be justified.

V. From the gate of hell,
R. Rescue her soul, O Lord.

V. Rest in peace.
R. Amen.

V. Hear, O Lord, [my prayer]
R. And may my cry [come to you.]


V. May the Lord be with you
R. And with your spirit.

We beseech you, Lord our God, for the soul of our sister, your handmaiden, in the name of the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, your holy confessor Francis
