offerentes eam in conspectu altissimi.
V. Suscipiat te christus, qui vocavit te, et in sinu Abrahe angeli deducant te.
R. Suscipientes [animam eius offerentes eam in conspectu altissimi.]

Sacerdos, post aspersionem, accipiat thuribulum a ministro et incensat corpus. Finito responsorio, cantrix incipiat cum choro suo

Kyrie eleison. Christe Eleison. Kyrie Eleison.

Tunc sacerdos dicat astantibus alta voce.

Pater noster [qui es in celis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in celo et in terra. Da nobis hodie panem nostrum cotidianum et dimitte nos debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.] Et ne nos [inducas in temptationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen]. Dominus vobiscum, [et cum spirito tuo.]

offering it before the eyes of the most high.
V. May Christ, who has called you, receive you, and may the angels lead you to the bosom of Abraham.
R. Taking up [her soul and offering it before the eyes of the most high.]

The priest, after sprinkling, should receive the censer from the ministry and incense the body. Once the responsory is over, let the cantrix begin with her choir

Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.

Then let the priest say to those standing by in a loud voice.

Our Father, [Who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;] And [lead] us not [into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.] May the Lord be with you [and your spirit.]
